The Central Palm Beach Media Initiative (CPBMI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and advancing high-quality local journalism in Central Palm Beach County.

We believe that informed communities are stronger communities. Local news does more than report headlines—it connects neighbors, highlights shared challenges and successes, and ensures that the stories shaping our daily lives are told with accuracy, integrity, and care.

At CPBMI, our mission is to strengthen the local information ecosystem by supporting independent journalism that reflects the voices, cultures, and concerns of Central Palm Beach County. As traditional news outlets shrink and local coverage disappears, communities risk losing transparency, accountability, and connection. We exist to help close that gap.
